Man left with serious injuries after another gun attack in Huyton - firearm and electric bike recovered by police

POLICE are appealing for information after another shooting in Huyton that has left a man with serious injuries last night Friday 28 November 2025.

Just before 10.20pm we received a report that a man had been shot twice in his leg on the driveway of an address on Radway Road by two men on a Sur-Ron bike. The offenders made off in an unknown direction on the electric bike.

Emergency services attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A firearm and an electric bike were later found and recovered by police officers in the area and are currently being forensically examined as part of our investigations.

A cordon remains in place on Radway Road and Liverpool Road and offices are in the process of carrying out house-to-house, CCTV and witness enquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Atkinson said: “We are still in the very early stages of an investigation and are determined to find the offenders responsible.

“A young man is currently in hospital with several injuries to his leg following a violent incident in our community therefore I want to reassure residents living in the area, that we are taking this incident extremely seriously and are relentless in our pursuit of those involved in gun crime.

“This is a residential area and there will be people who may have witnessed the incident, and I urge those people to tell us what you know if they have not done so already.

“If you have CCTV or dashcam footage, please let us know if your systems have captured anything.

“Information from you is vital if we are to breakdown organised crime groups and I would appeal to anyone who has information to come forward as soon as possible.”
