DOORBELL camera footage shows the shocking moment a teenager was shot in a Liverpool street just five hours after a boy was stabbed.
The video, which has been shared on social media, appears to have been filmed from a house in Manley Road, Huyton, where the attack happened on Friday evening.
In the footage, a male is seen standing in the street, when a dark-coloured car pulls up from his right.
The male appears to be pointing towards the car before a hooded male is then seen to get out of the rear nearside door.
The first male retreats as the second aims what appears to be a handgun at him.
There are two loud bangs as he appears to fire two shots at the victim who falls while running away.
There are shrieks heard as the attacker runs around the other side of a parked blue car before a third shot appears to be fired towards the victim.
The suspect then runs back to the car, which is driven off.
The footage is timed at just after 8.49pm on Friday, November 7.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "Detectives are continuing to appeal for information following an injury shooting in Huyton on Friday night, 7 November.
"At around 8.50pm, emergency services were called to Manley Road to reports of a 19-year-old man being shot outside an address. The victim was taken to hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
"A vehicle, believed to be a dark-coloured Mercedes, drove from the scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate this vehicle and the occupants."
Detective Inspector Chris Clark from our Firearms Investigation Team (FIT) said: "We are aware of footage in circulation showing this appalling incident, and this footage of course forms part of our investigation. We understand the concern that such violence causes, and I would continue to urge anyone with information to come forward.
"It appears to have been a targeted attack, and we are keeping an open mind as to the reason behind it. Again, if you know anything, speak to police or anonymously to Crimestoppers and we will do all we can to find those responsible and put them before the courts.
"Although the victim remains in hospital, we are hopeful that he will make a full recovery.
"Although the use of firearms on Merseyside has declined significantly in recent years, any shooting is unacceptable and we have a dedicated team of officers and staff to ensure that anyone who brings firearms into our communities is subject to investigation.”
The shooting was just under five hours after the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in the local area, but police are not sure if they are connected.
At around 3.45pm, emergency services were called to Woodfarm Hey, Stockbridge Village to reports of a 15-year-old boy being stabbed and injured.
He was taken to hospital for assessment and was described as being in a serious but stable condition.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "It is not initially believed that the incidents are linked, but detectives are keeping an open mind."

Knowsley Local Policing Superintendent Karl Baldwin said: “First and foremost, we understand the concern that both incidents will have caused. The residents of both Stockbridge Village and Huyton will be rightly shocked to hear about what has happened, and we’d urge those communities to come forward if they haven’t already done so, with any information, CCTV or other footage. You can speak to officers in the area, contact us directly by phone or online, or come forward to Crimestoppers anonymously.
“These are extremely serious incidents which have resulted in two young people sustaining serious injuries in what appear to have been targeted attacks. We are working hard to piece together the circumstances while supporting each victim’s family, and we are keeping an open mind as to the motives while providing significant additional resources in these areas.
“Key to reducing the harm of serious crime is information passed on from those affected, so please speak up and you can help reduce the risk. If you suspect anyone is carrying, storing or using weapons, do the right thing and let us know, or call Crimestoppers anonymously, and we will take action.” (Pic below: Huyton Times)
Chief Inspector Andy Hughes said of the shooting: “We are still in the very early stages of an investigation and we are determined to find the person or people responsible.
“A young man is currently in hospital with significant injuries and I’m sure the community will be utterly appalled at what has happened this evening.
“I want to reassure local residents in the area, as well as the wider Merseyside, that we are taking this incident extremely seriously and we are relentless in our pursuit of those involved in gun crime.
“This is a residential area and there will be people who may have witnessed the incident, and I urge those people to tell us what you know.
“Also, if you have CCTV or dashcam footage, please let us know if you captured anything. Even the smallest of details could prove vital in our investigation.
“Information from the public is vital if we are to break down the organised crime groups and I would appeal to anyone who has information to come forward as a matter of urgency.”
