Who are two men on bike? Could they hold the key to solving the murder of Kamal Nuur

DETECTIVES investigating the murder of Kamal Nuur in Islington last month believe people who know what happened have yet to come forward.

Officers are appealing for anyone who knows anything about the September 14 knife killing or who can identify two men captured on CCTV (above) leaving the scene on a bicycle to come forward.

A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday, October 10, when he voluntarily attended Kentish Town Police Station. He was released on bail until mid-November pending further enquiries.

A 21-year-old male was arrested on Wednesday, October 14 at an address in Peterborough. He was arrested for assisting an offender in relation to the murder of Kamal and for possession with intent to supply drugs. He is currently at a police station in Cambridgeshire.

Police were called at 8pm on Monday, September 14 to North Road, Islington, to reports of a man found suffering from stab injuries.

Kamal, 18, was treated by paramedics at the scene but despite their best efforts was pronounced dead.

A post-mortem examination conducted on Thursday, September 17 confirmed that Kamal died as a result of stab wounds inflicted in the attack.

Police believe that Kamal was chased and attacked in Goodinge Close, just off North Road by two male suspects who then fled in the direction of York Way.

On Tuesday, October 6 officers arrested a 20-year-old male, and a 17-year-old female, on suspicion of murder.
