Watch video as on fire house shockingly 'explodes' into street

A video has captured the shocking moment a blazing house suddenly exploded onto an Ilford street today.

Firefighters are dealing with the blaze on Ley Street.

They were called to the area at around 4.10pm today (December 10 2024).

Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters are at the scene and the roof and first floor of the two-storey property are alight. 

The video, posted online by social media news page ig1ig3, appears to be dashcam footage which inadvertently caught the dramatic explosion.
