TikTok takes down video of news report about Elon Musk's appearance at Tommy Robinson rally as 'violent extremism'

TIKTOK has taken down a video of an Essex News and Investigations report about Elon Musk appearing at Tommy Robinson's Uniting the Kingdom event in London today.

A video showing the article was posted on our sister TikTok account Newsjunkie3 today, but later removed for allegedly violating TikTok's community guidelines in respect of "Violent extremism".

The report contained no violence and was an account of some of what Musk said during his appearance by video link.

It is the second time that TikTok removed a news video which mentioned Robinson, despite there being no scenes of or reference to violence, suggesting a possible censoring of videos about him.

However, many other videos about Robinson, the event and Musk's attendance remain on TikTok.

TikTok is being contacted for comment.
