STEPHEN MORRISSON MURDER: Arrest ten in Epping Forest murder probe but no charges as teen re-bailed

A TENTH person has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Stephen Morrisson in Epping Forest in June.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested this month and then released on bail.

However, four months on from his killing there have yet to be any charges brought.

A boy, 17, who answered bail on Friday, was further bailed until a later date.

There have now been ten people arrested in connection with the murder, with eight still on police bail, while two were released with no further action.

Stephen, 30, (pictured above) from Plaistow in East London's brother is rapper Jon Morrisson - aka "Morrisson".

His other brother is Joey Morrisson, who once dated ex-TOWIE star Lauren Goodger.

He died on Tuesday, June 23, after he was stabbed in a car park between the Robin Hood and Wakes Arms roundabouts on Epping New Road. He was found badly injured at the service station near the Wake Arms.

A memorial set up there by friends and family (pictured below) has since been weather damaged. Stephen was taken to hospital but, sadly, later died.

A forensic post-mortem examination found that he had suffered a stab wound. Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Julie Gowen, who is leading the investigation, said: "I would like to thank everyone who has got in contact with us so far. Your help has been invaluable.

"Ten people have now been arrested in connection with Stephen's death but we are still asking anyone who has information to come forward and speak to us.

"No matter how small or insignificant you think your information is, please get in contact with us.

"It could be the key to bringing those responsible for Stephen's death to justice."

Anyone with information who has yet to come forward can submit information online at https://mipp.police.uk/operation/4201020120P45-PO1, ring police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
