SOFT JUSTICE: Man who trashed door and honey at Holland & Barrett has to pay just £250 compensation


A MAN has been ordered to pay £250 compensation to Holland and Barrett after he damaged the front door and several jars of honey at one of its stores.

Jason Watson, 51, from West End Close, Brent, west London, appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court today (Saturday January 7).

He admitted one count of criminal damage of the property worth £542 and another count of the attempted theft of four large jars of omega fish oil from the branch in High Street Harlesden on January 2 this year.

He was given until April 30 to pay and no further penalty was given.
