Members of the public tried to aid the victim first before security officers from My Local Bobby, who carry out patrols in the area, gave first aid before police and the ambulance crew and an air ambulance, seen landing on Clapham Common, south London, arrived.
Rinneau Perrineau, 19, known as Ren by his family and friends, was treated at the scene for stab wounds. He was taken to hospital, where his condition deteriorated.

In a statement, Rinneau's family said: "‘Ren was loved by many, he was always around his family. He will be dearly missed.”
At this stage, one arrest has been made. Detectives are urgently making enquiries as the investigation moves at a fast-pace.
This is believed to be an isolated incident.
Acting Borough Commander Amanda Mawhinney, who leads policing in the area, said: “Our thoughts are with the victim's loved ones at this terrible time.
“This was a shocking crime committed in broad daylight. A teenager’s life was taken, and his family and friends have suffered an irrevocable loss.

Private security security officers from My Local Bobby, who patrol the area, were also on the scene.
My Local Bobby CEO posted on Linkedin: "Bobbies Peter and Ben, from My Local Bobby, whilst patrolling their beat responded to a stabbing on St John’s Road, Clapham Junction.
"On arrival, they found a male who had suffered a stab wound to the chest, reportedly attacked by two male suspects who fled the scene in a black Citroën on false plates.
"The Bobbies immediately secured the scene, moved members of the public away to prevent contamination of crucial evidence, and provided emergency first aid to the injured male until police and paramedics arrived.
"They then assisted with the police cordon, remaining on scene for several hours until relieved by officers from Wimbledon Police. Met police officers commended their rapid response and professionalism."

They were not first on the scene. Absolute nonsense. Passers by were there first and called emergency services and administered first aid until they arrived. People should not overplay their involvement.
