Woman found dead in Valentine's Park named in moving tribute left at scene

A WOMAN found dead in Valentine's Park has been named as Leigh-Ann in tributes left at the scene.
One tribute left with flowers at the scene in the Ilford park in east London, said: "To my Leigh-Ann. Free from the darkness of pain, into the light of peace... Uncle Dave."
A major police response was launched after her body was found in the park.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 8:49hrs on Friday, 1 August to reports of an unresponsive woman in the park in Ilford, east London.
Officers attended and found a 50-year-old woman who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious.

Her Next of kin are aware and being supported by specialist officers.
A post-mortem examination was set to take place and a file prepared for the coroner, the police said.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.39pm on Friday 1 August to reports of an unwell person at Valentines Park, Ilford.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, an advanced paramedic and a clinical team manager.
“Sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.”
