JUST days after our special investigation exposed the high numbers of migrant fugitives using the Channel crossings to flee justice in the UK, we can reveal that Germany is seeking the extradition of another man accused of serious offences who has been found in the UK.
Sadeq Al Saed Ahmed, 29, was arrested on 25 October 2025 in the Euston area of north London.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court for a first extradition hearing on Monday, October 27, and did not consent to be extradited.
The court heard that he is wanted in Germany for alleged offences amounting to rape and murder between 21 and 22 November 2024 in Berlin.
He was remanded into custody ahead of a bail application next month.
The court noted that he was otherwise "likely to abscond" due to the "nature and seriousness" of the offence and the "likely sentence if convicted."
The court recorded no address for the requested person.
He is the latest in a series of wanted migrants who are being sought for extradition from the UK by EU countries, mostly Germany, as revealed by UK News and Investigations this week.
