Man charged with the murder of graduate stabbed to death near St Paul's Cathedral
Detectives investigating the murder of Emmanuel Odunlami have charged a man.
Quincy Ffrench-Yethman, 26, of Foyle Road, Tottenham, was charged on Monday May 16 2022 with murder. He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court tomorrow on Tuesday May 17.
Emmanuel Odunlami, 32, from Romford, was found in Gresham Street, EC2V, suffering from a fatal stab wound at 11:30pm on May 1 this year.
Officers carried out CPR at the scene before he was taken to the Royal London Hospital where he sadly later died.
His next of kin are aware and being supported by specialist officers.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are continuing to appeal for any information.
Commander Umer Khan, from the City of London Police, said: “Our thoughts and condolences are with Emmanuel’s friends and family at this difficult time.
“We are continuing to appeal for any information, no matter how small it may seem, to help with our enquiries. Even the smallest piece of information may be significant to our investigation.
“A number of people were in the area at the time of this tragic incident and officers would like anyone with further information to come forward. This can be done anonymously and in confidence.”
A City of London Police spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene and found one man, believed to be in his 30s, suffering from serious stab injuries.

"Cordons currently remain in place in the immediate area and police enquiries are ongoing."
