Man charged with rape of woman by hospital in early hours - details of nationality requested

Police investigating a report of rape which occurred near a hospital in the early hours of the morning have charged a homeless man.
Hassan Sarout, 21 (23.12.2003), of no fixed address was charged with rape on Saturday, 11 October 2025.
A 19-year-old woman reported at 3:31am on Thursday, 9 October that she had been raped in the early hours of the morning on Euston Road in Camden.
She continues to be supported by specialist officers.
Officers attended the location, which was near a hospital, as part of early enquiries and a crime scene was put in place.
Sarout was arrested in relation to the incident on Friday, 10 October. He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 13 October.
Enquiries are ongoing.
