A MAN has admitted refusing to disclose his pin number to a mobile device to police officers when required at Gatwick Airport.
Under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000, members of the public have a duty to provide such a pin if requested, at ports, airports and borders.
It is the same offence that Tommy Robinson is facing after he allegedly refused to disclose a pin number as he left the UK at Dover last July.
Omar Jacob Ahmed, 28, of Wellhouse Lane, Kirkheaton, Huddersfield, was charged with failing to disclose a pin when required on November 5 2024 at Gatwick Airport.
He admitted the offence at Westminster Magistrates' Court and the case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report.
He was released on conditional bail ahead of sentence next month.
