A 15-YEAR-old boy is being treated in hospital after the latest stabbing in Ilford.
Around 4:55pm on Saturday, 13 June 2026, officers from the Met Police attended Ilford Lane, Ilford, east London, following reports of a stabbing.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police attended with the London Ambulance Service. A 15-year-old boy was treated at the scene for stab injuries. We await an update on his condition.
"A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was taken into police custody, where he remains."
Anybody who witnessed the incident is urged to call 101, quoting reference 5194/13JUN.
Large numbers of police vehicles and ambulances were seen in the area yesterday with part of the road, near the junction with Britannia Road, cordoned off.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called on Saturday 13 June at 4.51pm to reports of a stabbing in Ilford Lane, IG1.
“We sent resources including ambulance crews, advanced paramedic practitioners, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance.
“We treated a teenager at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre.”
