Hornchurch Police station mobbed with officers and ambulance service crews tonight

A LARGE police and ambulance presence has been reported to be outside Hornchurch police station this evening.

It is not clear if an incident is underway and both the Met Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.

A witness at the scene in Station Lane, Hornchurch, at about 10pm on Wednesday June 17 2026 said: "There was an ambulance service vehicle outside when lots of police vehicles both marked and unmarked, I think some of them armed units, started to pull into the station car park and there were several officers standing about outside. What was strange was a second ambulance turned up on blue lights."
