GUN CITY: Teen faces trial after being 'found with pistol and ammo' in City of Westminster

A TEENAGER is facing trial after allegedly being found in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Marvin Toby Edwards, 18, is charged with illegal possession of a pistol, illegal possession of ammunition and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. It is alleged that on Thursday Edwards was found with the gun, with a barrel of less than 30 centimetres, and ammunition in the borough of Westminster, London.

Edwards, from Downfield Close, Wewtminster, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today (July 31) when he was remanded in custody.

The case was adjourned to a date to be confirmed at Southwark Crown Court, where the trial will take place.

The arrest came during a week-long operation by the Met Police to target firearms.
