Cannabis worth £1m found in every room of empty flats block in Essex coastal town Walton-on-the-Naze
CANNABIS plants worth more than £1 million were found across every room of an abandoned block of flats at a small seaside resort.
Police are today still at the scene of the large cannabis cultivation in Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex.
An Essex Police spokesman said there are about 30 rooms in the block with most filled with plants.
He said: "We attended a block of flats in Pier Approach on Thursday, December 17
and discovered 2,274 plants. "These plants have a potential street value of up to £1 million. "Our enquiries are ongoing."
