EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Woman arrested on suspicion of assaulting paramedic at Broomfield Hospital during busy night at A&E

A WOMAN who was taken to Broomfield Hospital in an ambulance was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a paramedic.

The patient was seen shouting and laying on the floor by the ambulance bays with hospital security staff involved during a very busy night in A&E.

Police were later seen to arrive in a car before officers went over to assess the situation.

"It was reported a paramedic had been assaulted at around 2.30am on Thursday 2 July.

A 44 year-old woman was arrested and has since been released under investigation.
