An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are investigating an incident where three members of the public were bitten by two dogs in Harlow.

"It was reported to have happened in the area of Settings Lane at around 4pm on Saturday 26 April. Our enquiries are ongoing, but the dogs have been seized.

The dogs were later caught by police near a major roundabout in the town at about 6pm. Video footage recorded by an onlooker showed the two dogs tied to a road sign while a female police officer awaited for assistance.
