A SUSPECTED sex pest has been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of two indecent exposures.

He was arrested after being detained by security officers from private firm My Local Bobby.

At approximately 10:25am on November 25 2025, while conducting a routine foot patrol on Tottenham Court Road, security officers saw a male suspected of being involved in an indecent exposure incident that occurred 18 days earlier at the rear of a restaurant, in which two female victims were involved.

The men informed the suspect that he was being placed under citizen’s arrest for the offence of indecent exposure. He was advised that police had been notified and that any attempt to flee would result in reasonable force being used.

Police arrived within approximately ten to 20 minutes and the security officers provided attending officers with a full account of the situation.

A short time later, police formally placed him under arrest for the offences.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating two reports of incident exposure in Tottenham Court Road, W1, that occurred on Friday, 7 November and Tuesday, 25 November.

"Officers arrested a man in 50s on suspicion of the offence. After interview, it was referred to the Crown Prosecution Service, who stated the case file did not meet the evidential threshold for charge. He was released on bail pending further investigation.

“If you have any information relating to the incident please contact the Met via 101, quoting 01/8181057/25.”
