A MAN wanted in Romania for sexually assaulting a child was arrested in the UK.
Lucian Molfa, 38, whose address was not revealed, was brought before Westminster Magistrates' Court yesterday, June 28 2025, for an extradition hearing.
He was arrested in the West Merica area, according to the court file.
The court heard that he was arrested on a European arrest warrant from Romania where he is accused of "sexual assault on a minor."

Molfa did not contest extradition, so will be sent there on a date to be set.
He was remanded into custody ahead of extradition as the court said he was "likely to abscond and due to the nature and seriousness of offence, his previous record and character, and because he has a sentence to serve.
According to a Romanian Police wanted appeal he has a "sentence of one year and nine months in prison to serve, regarding the commission of the crimes of sexual corruption of minors and solicitation of minors for sexual purposes."
