EXCLUSIVE: Man stuck on roof of Book of Mormon theatre near Piccadilly Circus sparks major emergency response

POLICE, firefighters and ambulance crews were in attendance at a London theatre this morning after a man became stuck on the roof.

These pictures show the scene in Coventry Street, between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, at 5:40am, today, March 29 2026.

The emergency crews were outside the Prince of Wales Theatre, which is hosting the popular Book of Mormon production.

According to a source the fire service was trying to locate someone who was allegedly on the roof at the time.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "We attended to a report of a male trapped in the building, appears we located him on the roof and safely brought him down.

"He was spoken to and checked by London Ambulancde Service as I understand, no offences disclosed and doesn’t appear any further action at that time."

The fire and ambulance services have been contacted for more details and this report will be updated accordingly.
