Ex-wife of Russian billionaire Putin ally Vladimir Potanin can pursue him for more of his fortune in UK rules Court of Appeal

THE ex-wife of one of Russia's richest men can continue to pursue him for half of his $24 billion fortune in the British courts, the Court of Appeal ruled today.

Vladimir Potanin's (above with Putin) ex-wife Natalia Potanina can pursue him for a multi-billion dollar share of his stake in Nornickel, the Russian multinational metals and mining company, the court in London ruled this morning.

It means one of the highest-value divorce cases on record is set to will continue.
