DANIEL Kinahan is to appear in court in person on Monday, October 12.
Kinahan, 49, appeared by videolink from Portlaoise Prison before Dublin's Special Criminal Court, a three-judge, non-jury court, yesterday (October 5 2026).
The court heard his lawyer Darragh Mackin was unavailable and the case was adjourned for seven days.
Kinahan faces a charge of directing the activities of a criminal organisation between 18 October 2015 and 6 April 2017.
During his first appearance in August he was without legal representation.
It was after he was extradited from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on August 9.
He had been arrested in the UAE in April.
He appealed the extradition order but was unsuccessful.
The UK National Crime Agency (NCA) has previously said he heads the Kinahan cartel, which it claims has been responsible for importing tonnes of drugs and firearms and a feud linked to more than ten gangland murders.
