THREE people, including a child, were injured during a road collision involving a motorbike in Shaftesbury Avenue, central London.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were dispatched to the scene last night after a road traffic accident involving a motorbike, the London Ambulance Service has confirmed.
Police, London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade were on the scene in Shaftesbury Avenue, central London, last night (April 21 2026) from 6:17pm.

Part of the road was sealed off in the famous theatre district.
A motorbike was photographed at a standstill on the pavement and a stretcher was seen to remove a patient from the scene.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.17pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Shaftesbury Avenue, central London.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated three patients at the scene and we took two patients to a major trauma centre as a priority – one of them was a child. We took the third patient to a local hospital. All three patients were taken by road.”
Police and the fire service have been contacted for comment.
