BREAKING NEWS: More than 60 firefighters tackle blaze in llford hair salon in Horns Road today

MORE than 60 firefighters have been sent to deal with a blaze at an Ilford hair salon.
residents have reported to UK News and Investigations seeing more than 12 London fire service vehicles heading on blue lights down the A12 at Gants Hill towards Ilford.
The fire service has so far confirmed that eight fire engines with about 60 firefighters have been sent to the Horns Road area.

Its incident report said: "Eight fire engines around 60 firefighters have been called to a fire at a beauty salon on Horns Road in Ilford.
"Members of the public are asked to avoid the area whilst firefighters work to extinguish the fire.
"Road closures are in place on Horns Road and traffic disruption can be expected on surrounding roads including Ley Street and the A12 Eastern Avenue.
"The Brigade received the first of 10 calls about the fire at 2:29pm and Control Officers have mobilised crews from Stratford, Woodford, Leytonstone, Romford and surrounding fire stations to the scene.
"The cause of the fire is unknown at this time."
