Men and women allegedly 'behaving badly' at Christmas... 15 go before Westminster Magistrate


SEVERAL defendants were due to appear in court today for a Boxing Day hearing, accused of behaving badly over the Christmas period.

Fifteen people appeared on the "overnights list" at Westminster Magistrates' Court today, meaning they were arrested on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Fiona Cloke, 48, from Falcon Road, Wandsworth, south-west London, was accused of the unusual offence of causing a nuisance or disturbance on an NHS premises.

It is alleged that yesterday, on Christmas Day, she caused a disturbance to an NHS worker at Charring Cross Hospital (pictured above) and refused to leave the building.

Richard Brown, 52, from Cocketts Drive, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, was charged with fraud in that he allegedly failed to pay for food and drink at the luxury five-star Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge, west London, on December 23.

He faces a separate charge of a similar charge of not paying for food at a retail unit in Rose Street in the City of London on November 5 this year.

Marion Bundu, 42, from Dorton Close, Southwark, south London, was arrested after allegedly failing to show up at the court on December 19 for sentence in connection with two assaults.

Bundu had pleaded not guilty to attacking two males from the same family in Dorton Close on September 30.

She was found guilty after a trial on November 28 and bailed to return for sentence on December 19.

Jalal Mansoor, 40, from Cromwell Road, South Kensignton, west London, was charged with assaulting a neighbour in his flats block, on Christmas Eve.

It is alleged that John Stockwell, 33, from Langton Avenue, East Ham, east London, breached a July 2019 criminal behaviour order

on Christmas Eve at Villers Street, in Covent Garden, Central London, by entering the Holland & Barrett store, which he is banned from doing.

He now faces a theft charge dating back to May 8 this year when he allegedly stole bottles of Manuka Honey worth £3,500 from the same firm from its branch in Golders Green Road, in Golders Green, north London.

Fowaz Sultan, 34, of an unknown address, was charged with drink driving on Christmas Eve when he allegedly drove a black BMW on the A4 eastbound in Chiswick, west London, with 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, which exceeded the prescribed limit.

Jason Woolley, 50, of Roding Road, Hackney, east London, was charged with being drunk and disorderly in the early hours of Boxing Day in Cannon Street, central London.

Mr William Belk, 53, of an unknown address, was charged with breaching a sex offenders' order by failing to attend Colchester Police station on Christmas Eve.

Anthony Boylan, 47, from Higher Broad Lane, Redruth, Cornwall, was facing a charge of breaching a criminal behaviour order, which was made at Blackfriars Crown Court on February 5 2018, at Charring Cross station on Christmas Eve.

The order banned him from entering any rail stations unless to travel immediately with the means to pay for a journey.

He is also charged on the same day of the racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment alarm or distress of a person.

Liam Brady, 33, of no fixed abode was charged with breaching a restraining order made at Hammersmith Magistrates' Court on September 1 2016 by on Christmas Eve, being at the address of a woman in Riverside Gardens, Hammersmith, west London, who he was banned from approaching.

He faces two other charges of breaching the order by calling her on October 11 and October 12.

Mohammed Ali Hakim, 36, from Westbourne Grove, Kensington and Chelsea, west London, was charged with criminal damage by smashing a window belonging to a relative at his home on December 23.

Dickens Mbengu, 40, from Fisby Road, Hackney, was charged with using threatening and abusive words at Victoria Coach Station in London on Christmas Eve.

Marvin Russell, 42, of no fixed abode was charged with going equipped for burglary with a pair of pliers on Christmas Eve at Lancaster Road, Kensington, west London,

He was also charged of failing to stop for police on a push bike on the same day and assault on PC Rishav Neupane in connection with the same incident.

COURT: Sten is accused of assault and attempted theft at The Old Shades

Alina Stefan, 19, was charged with assaulting a woman at The Old Shades pub in Whitehall, London, on Christmas Eve and the attempted theft of a phone from another woman at the same pub on the same night.

Safi Ullah, 23, from St Mary's Street, Woolwich, south London, was arrested on a crown court warrant and brought before the magistrates' court for unknown reasons.

All cases were adjourned.
