Man and woman charged in connection with Lee Casey murder on Brixton Hill... pair due in court tomor


A MAN has been charged with the murder of Lee Casey (pictured) who was stabbed to death on Thursday.

Levi Paschal, 33, of Brixton, has been charged with murder and will appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Tuesday, 3 September.

He has also been charged with attempted wounding with intent and conspiracy to rob in relation to a second victim.

He has also been charged with one count of possession of an offensive weapon, in relation to both incidents. A woman has also been charged in connection with the second victim.

Clementine Jones, 30, also of Brixton, has been charged with conspiracy to rob and will also appear at the same court tomorrow.

Both were arrested on Sunday. Police in Lambeth were called at 12:07pm on Thursday, August 29 to reports of a stabbing on Brixton Hill, south London. Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene and found 38-year-old Lee suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a south London hospital where, despite efforts by medics at the scene, he sadly died at 14:11pm. A post-mortem examination carried out on Saturday, August 31 gave cause of death as a knife wound to the chest.
