THREE men were injured during two separate attacks within a few hours of each other in the heart of TOWIE Essex.
In the first incident, a man in his 30s was assaulted at around the same time as the sound of gun shots were heard in Princes Road near The Three Colts Pub, in Buckhurst Hill, Essex.
Police believe it was a planned attack.
The popular pub's regulars have included former The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) star Mark Wright.
An Essex Police spokesman said: " We are investigating after a man was assaulted and witnesses reported gun shots being heard.
"We were called shortly after 10.55pm on Sunday, August 25 to Princes Road near The Three Colts pub.
"The man sustained two cuts to his face. He was taken to hospital with injuries that are not described as serious."
Witnesses reported seeing three or four suspects, who had their faces covered and left the scene in a car, the make and model of which are unknown.
The spokesman added: "We are treating this as an isolated and targeted incident and believe there is no wider risk to the public."

Just over three hours later at shortly after 2am on Monday, in an attack not thought to be linked to the first, officers from the Met Police were called to Faces nightclub in Cranbrook Road, Gants Hill, east London to reports of a stabbing.
Faces, just over five miles from Buckhurst Hill, is popular with minor celebrities, including many current and former TOWIE cast members.
A 21-year-old man was found there with stab injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics from London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.

Another man was also found with a head injury believed to have been caused by being hit with a bottle.
Two men have been arrested, one for GBH and one for affray.
Witnesses to the Buckhurst Hill attack are asked to call 101 quoting incident 1653 of Sunday August 25.
