BREAKING NEWS: Knife crime epidemic claims another life in London as man stabbed to death

LONDON'S knife crime epidemic has claimed another life today after a man was found dying from stab wounds in north London.
Officers from the Met Police were called at 5.47pm to Matthias Road, Stoke Newington, following reports of a stabbing.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance.
"A man, thought to be aged in his 30s, was discovered suffering from a stab injury."

Police administered CPR before paramedics arrived, but despite their efforts the man died at the scene.
Police are working to inform his next of kin.
Kate Vermeulen tweeted: "Just saw a trauma helicopter landing from my window. Apparently someone has been stabbed".
Dom Sutton added: "Loads of police and paramedics on Matthias Road. Looks like a guy has been stabbed. One guy said he saw a man with two stab wounds."
The spokesman added: "At this early stage there have been no arrests. The Homicide and Major Crime Command will be informed. A crime scene is in place. Enquiries continue."
A Section 60 has been authorised for post codes N16, N1 and E8, meaning stop and searches can be carried out in these areas.
