THEFT: The Holland & Barrett branch in Cannon Street, where Allen struck
A MAN has admitted stealing vitamins and supplements from Holland & Barrett stores.
Anthony Allen, 42, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to stealing vitamins worth £113 from the Cannon Street branch in the City of London on August 2.
He also admitted at City of London Magistrates Court the theft on July 12 of four pots of high strength glucosamine worth £80 from another branch in Buckingham Palace Road, south-west London.

However, Allen pleaded not guilty to two similar offences and one count of common assault.
It is alleged that on July 7 from the Buckingham Palace Road branch he stole vitamin E tablets worth £610 and that on May 14 this year he took four bottles of high strength glucosamine chondrotin complex - which is said to be good for bones and tissue - and four bottles of vitamin worth of total of £211 from the same store.
He is also accused of assaulting Hilary Keyamo on July 7.
Allen is due to appear at the same court later this month.
