Police spend four days at address after finding cannabis factory following reports of disturbance


POLICE have spent four days at a cannabis factory after it was discovered following reports of a disturbance.

Met Police officers have been seen at the address in Albemarle Gardens, Ilford, east London, since Tuesday.

Today, Friday, December 9, the electricity board was seen digging up the drive.

A resident from the area said: "A police car has been parked on their drive since Tuesday and people are asking what is going on."

A Met Police spokesman said: "Police were called at around 5:15am on Tuesday, December 6, to a report of a disturbance at an address on Albermarle Gardens, Ilford.

"Officers attended and found no trace of anyone at the property. A quantity of cannabis plants were located inside. No arrests have been made."

Today, the resident added: "There is a lot of police presence there and the electricity board were digging up driveway."
