A LUXURY online personal shopping service is being investigated by police.
GW Global Trading, based in Hipster mecca Shoreditch, has had a freezing order placed on its bank accounts since last September while City of London Police carries out an investigation.
Westminster Magistrate's Court has received an application from Wei Yue, 31, one of the firm's directors to have the freezing order removed.
At a brief hearing lawyers for Mr Yue, from Kensington, west London, said documents would be provided "to show a legitimate business is being run."
However, police argued the order should remain in place "while its investigation continues".

Its website states: "We represent a new wave of synergy between luxury personal shopping and the fashion savvy global consumer.
"We are a progressive and cutting edge bespoke personal shopping fashion concierge service located in the heart of London.

"In a tech savvy generation, we want to continue nourishing our business so that we can champion the most innovative luxury shopping experience on the market."
Mr Yue is an "experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the import and export industry," according to his Linkedin page.
He got an MA in graphic design at Kingston University in 2012.

The case was adjourned for a full hearing.

Officers from the investigative team, who were at court, refused to say what allegations they were investigating in connection with the business.
