A MAN has been accused of "upskirting" women just a stone's throw from New Scotland Yard.

Richard Sivier, 57, is charged with outraging public decency at Horseguard Parade, London, The which is next to the Met Police headquarters.

It is claimed that Sivier, from Warren Road, Cambridge, in Cambridgeshire, "committed an act outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, namely using a camera while walking along to film under females' skirts contrary to common law" on June 20 this year.

The maximum penalty on conviction is six months in prison or an unlimited fine.

Sivier was due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court tomorrow.

He has yet to enter a plea.

Earlier this year MPs try to make upskirting a criminal offence in itself, which would mean tougher sentences, but the bid was blocked.
